The Adelaide Group offers the opportunity to meet regularly to cultivate possibilities for the Work to find its way into awareness.

The group is learning to co-operate with the conditions of daily life as a practical means for developing attention, for self observation and the awakening of a new understanding.

By studying how to work with the forces of life, we aim to clarify the meaning of our existence and our responsibility in relation to our place in the world.

All genuine enquiries are welcome.

“When we strive to awaken to the reality of our existence, we can discern two essential currents in ourselves, one of them draws us, even drives us toward the outer world. It encompasses everything pleasant and unpleasant that happens to us. The other current calls us in a wholly different direction. It seems to come from an immense unknown world, a more luminous world that curiously attracts us. We touch only its fringe…”

Gurdjieff, G, Meetings with Remarkable Men

“From my point of view, he can be called a remarkable man who stands out from those around him by the resourcefulness of his mind, and who knows how to be restrained in the manifestations which proceed from his nature, at the same time conducting himself justly and tolerantly towards the weaknesses of others.”
